Ethel Igboeche, Financial Secretary of Advertising Practitioners Association Abuja Chapter (APAAC) yesterday led other members of APAAC Executive Council to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to thank the Commission for its patronage and to ask for more support.

Just as the Industrial Revolution of the19th Century impacted the social and economic order, the Fourth Industrial Revolution expressed in digital transformation has had astonishing and challenging impact on advertising revenue, media production and sustainability.

So, in the manner Charles Dickson characterized the crises of survival during the Industrial Revolution in his second novel, Oliver Twist, APAAC seemed to re-echo Oliver: “Please, sir, I want some more”.

Ethel who represented Ibrahim Aliyu, The Chairman of APAAC, appealed to NCC to increase the support to its members. She also informed the Commission that APAAC requires NCC's support to ensure the success of the forthcoming annual conference of APAAC slated for November 2019.

Sonny Aragba-Akpore, Head Media and Public Relations, who represented Dr. Henry Nkemadu, Director Public Affairs NCC warmly received Igboeche and her colleagues and promised to transmit their requests to the Management for consideration.
