Wireless Internet Cloud Project (WIC)

The Wireless Internet Cloud Project aims to deliver robust, campus-wide wireless broadband connectivity that enhances digital learning, promotes continuous access to educational resources and supports innovation within the school environment. By deploying high-capacity wireless infrastructure, students and teachers gain seamless access to online content, collaboration tools and digital classrooms even beyond conventional school hours.

This initiative is designed to bridge the digital divide by ensuring equitable access to high-speed internet across the campus community. The solution incorporates a resilient network backbone, modern access points, secure routing, power-backup systems and centralized cloud-based management to guarantee high availability, security and performance. With the integration of renewable energy through a solar inverter system, the project remains sustainable and operational even in areas with unreliable power supply.

The connectivity infrastructure provided include advanced wireless equipment such Access Points, directional antennas for extended coverage, switches, enterprise-grade firewalls, servers and UPS systems. Together, these components ensure strong, reliable and scalable broadband coverage across the campus.

Furthermore, the project includes comprehensive logistics, deployment, commissioning and a 12-month management and maintenance plan to guarantee system stability. Beneficiary training is also incorporated to empower the school’s ICT personnel and ensure long-term sustainability of the solution.

Overall, the Wireless Internet Cloud Project is a transformative investment that strengthens digital education, supports innovation and ensures students have continuous access to knowledge resources—positioning the campus for future-ready learning and improved academic outcomes.
