Workshop on
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology Applications for Nigeria: Call for Papers
and Discussants
The Nigerian Communications
Commission (NCC), in pursuance of its aims and objectives of promoting access to
telecommunications for the Nigerian public, hereby announces a planned Workshop
on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technologies in Abuja, on 28th August, 2003.
The essence is to sensitise
interested persons and the general public about these emergent technologies and
their applications, with a view to exploring means for early and orderly
introduction of these services in Nigeria. The Workshop will look at technology,
regulatory and business aspects of these emergent platforms.
By this announcement, the NCC
calls on persons who may be interested in contributing or presenting papers
and/or serving as Discussants at the Workshop to please send Abstracts of their
papers and/or indicate their willingness to serve as Discussants.
Your submission, clearly
marked, “Workshop on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology Applications for
Nigeria”, should be accompanied by your Curriculum Vitae (CV) and should reach
the Commission not later than 7th August, 2003, addressed to:
