The Nigerian Communications Act 2003 provides, amongst other things, for the -

	Repeal of the Nigerian Communications Commission Act 1992 as amended;
	Reform of the Nigerian communications Commission as an independent regulatory body for the communications sub-sector;
	Establishment of the National Frequency Management Council; and
	Establishment of the Universal Service Fund.
