Technical Standards

The NCC is tasked with the establishment and enforcement of technical specifications and standards for the telecommunications industry. This includes the establishment and administration of the National Numbering Plan (NNP), Type Approval of telecommunications equipment to ensure conformity with applicable Nigerian standards, and monitoring Quality of Service (QoS).
